Are you travelling to Bali?

Are you travelling to Bali?  As we are unable to continue using the shipment method to bring supplies to  Bali, some very kind travellers are bringing some supplys to Bali for us.

E.G. blankets, towels,worming meds, dog washes to stop ticks and fleas, vitimans, suture material for operations very much needed .

If you are able to assist in bringing things to Bali, please email Linda at balidogrefuge@yahoo.com

She will assist you.  We would like to assure you that you will not be asked to carry any prohibited  meds.

8. More Land……..bigger areas for injured dogs and a puppy area specifically for pups in a less upbuilt area, WE HAVE FOUND SOME LAND FOR ONLY 150 DOLLARS PER ARA = 10X10 METERS.
10. Accommodation for vets/volunteer workers, to stay
11. A 24 hour  on call vet/ nurse, staff. U.S. $1,200.00 per.  month

Our First Shipment

Well it has been a rush, but we have got together a band of very dedicated people to help get our first shipment of things from Melbourne to head to Bali for the BARC Centre.

We would like to thank the following.

The Village Vet - Toorak Melbourne, for their medical supplies. 

With Compassion and Soul - Adelaide, for their generosity in supplying beautiful soft sox to be made into little dog jumpers for the tiny puppies.

Tracey Devon - who drove all over Melbourne and delivered 40 kgs of dried dog food. 

Chloe Ahern - who has sewn her fingers to the bone, donated her birthday money, and paid for all materials to make at least beautiful Puppy Pouches for the littlies to snuggle into on cold nights.

We have managed to gather puppy pouches for the puppies to sleep in when it is cold at night, much needed medical supplies, soft socks to be made into little jumpers for puppies, hand knitted jumpers for small dogs, baby singlets for dogs with skin allergies, hot water bottles and polar fleece blankets.  As well we have 40 kilos of dried dog food to help feed the dogs at the Shelter.
